Daniel M. Kammen a Distinguished Professor of Energy at the University of California, Berkeley, where he holds appointments in the Energy and Resources Group, the Goldman School of Public Policy, and the department of Nuclear Engineering. Kammen is the founding director of the Renewable and Appropriate Energy Laboratory (RAEL). Kammen is also the Co-Director of the Berkeley Institute of the Environment ( http://bie.berkeley.edu ). CANNED & BOXED-DRY FOOD for FOOD BANK of CONTRA COSTA and SOLANO COUNTY

Please bring bags of these non-perishable boxed & canned foodstuff and/or donations to the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano County to the 11/15th meeting (one week before Thanksgiving). As is our annual tradition, they will be taken to the Food Bank by LDC member, Jim Denels. Our much less fortunate and homeless need our help. Let’s remember to be grateful for all that we have and to share with those who experience food insecurity every day. Thank you for your generosity!
