Assembly Member DeSaulnier and constituent announce new law to raise fines and decrease Disabled Parking Fraud

CONCORD–Assembly Member Mark DeSaulnier and constituent Alisa Rosillo of Concord will gather with advocates for disabled rights to herald the passage and signature of Assembly Bill 1531.
Ms. Rosillo submitted the legislative proposal as a part of Assembly Member DeSaulnier’s annual, “There Ought to Be a Law Contest.” Participants in the press conference will discuss AB 1531 and its importance for the disabled community throughout California.
Assembly Member DeSaulnier will then kickoff his 2008 “There Ought to Be a Law Contest.”
