Governor in Contra Costa this morning
An email received on the visit:
The Governor will be discussing the budget in Pleasant Hill ! This morning at 10:30 am. We should all get out there with signs to let him know we won’t allow him to destroy education. His presentation will be at Pleasant Hill City Hall , 100 Gregory Lane , Pleasant Hill - this is two blocks from Monument and Contra Costa Blvd. IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT YOU ARRIVE AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE SO THAT HE CAN SEE US ON THE STREET.
The Sac Bee says:
“For his part, Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger heads to the East Bay to continue his series of budget “discussions,†in which he explains to friendly audiences why the entire budget process needs fixing.”
Let’s make sure he doesn’t have a “friendly audience!”
