Clinton and Obama delegate selection process info

Clinton:
EAR CALIFORNIANS FOR HILLARY,
It was great to connect at last month’s California Democratic Party State Convention!
At Convention, many long-time Hillary supporters, and many new Hillary supporters (undecided Democrats, and Hillary supporters previously committed to another candidate) stopped by the Hillary for President Booth and joined us at the Floor Rally with President Bill Clinton to tell us about the phenomenal Hillary supporters in our 53 Congressional Districts who want to know what they can do to help Hillary win.
That’s why we’re writing. To invite you, and the best, and most active Hillary supporters/Democratic activists in your Congressional District to become “Hillary for President District Captains” (HPDCs) by April 13.
We’d like to know if you’re running for Delegate, and/or if you’re an Experienced “Activate!” GOTV’er for Hillary. If you are, we’d like to invite you to organize a BYOP (Bring Your Own Cell Phone) Party on April 13 (the day of the District Level Election, between Noon-2 PM or between 5-7 PM, while you’re awaiting results of the delegate election). And if you’re busy running for Delegate, “move it forward” by organizing your BYOP for April 19 or 20 (GOTV Weekend in PA).
Imagine, if you organized a BYOP in your Congressional District on April 13 or 19 and listed it on www.hillaryclinton.com, (Visit: http://www.hillaryclinton.com/actioncenter/event/view/?id=12473), you’d be turning out hundreds more voters and future volunteers on April 13 to the Hillary Delegate elections, which helps you and Hillary win! Imagine the press - showing hundreds of Hillary supporters showing up to Caucus!
Imagine, a BYOP in every Congressional District on April 13, where each BYOP made at least 100 calls - we’d yield 5,300 GOTV calls for Hillary (to Oregon or other priority state)!
Imagine, if you led the group, and trained and vetted new “Activate!” volunteers, who would organize BYOPs on April 19 & 20 (GOTV Weekend for PA) or call from home/work/play, it would have an exponential impact of “100 dials to the “N”th power (Woman Power, Guy Power, Hillary Power!).
So say YES! to becoming a HPDC by April 9, and we’ll invite you to an HPDC/Activate! Orientation Conference Call that will take place Friday at 2:30 PM or Saturday at 8:30 AM. To find out more about Activate! please read the attached.
We value all you are doing to help Hillary win!
No matter where you are, feel free to call us, or visit us at the HILLARY FOR PRESIDENT HQ in CALIFORNIA. We’re located at 1801 Avenue of the Stars, Room 1248, Century City, CA 90067, and we’re open 7 days a week. There’s three hours of free parking at the Westfield Shopping Mall (near Bloomingdale’s Orange Section). Obama:
Democracy is NOT a spectator sport.
This Sunday, April 13, caucuses will be held to select delegates for
the Democratic National Convention. We are in need of volunteers to
help with the Caucus to elect Barack Obama’s delegates from CD 10.
To volunteer, you just need to be willing, able and a registered
Democrat in CD 10 (and not to mention, support Barack Obama).
We will be working from Noon until approximately 5:30 p.m., which
includes both the set-up and clean up as well as all that needs to
happen during the event! If you are available for the whole day, you
are positively spectacular!…but even if you are available to take on
just one shift, you still “rock”!
Estimated times for shifts include, but are not limited to:
Noon - 1:30 p.m. Set-up
1:30 p.m. - 3:15 Registration and related events
4:00 - 4:30 Count votes/tally
4:30- 5:30 Clean up
The location is: Kensington Community Center
59 Arlington Ave.
Kensington, CA 94707
If you are running for one of the delegate positions to be voted on
this Sunday, you may not help this time, but if you are coming to
support your candidate(s) of choice, please consider giving an extra
couple of hours to help!
Email me as soon as possible what time(s) you will volunteer (or if
you have questions)!
Thanks, once again, so much!
