Welcome to our county web site! Our county Central Committee consists of very dedicated Democrats who are willing to sacrifice their time, energy and money to the cause of Democratic Party’s ideals. They come from all walks of life and of all ages and are of varied faiths. They represent almost all races in this world. We welcome open heartedly any one who shares in our views of equality and justice for all- regardless of their race, nationality, sexual orientation or economic status We believe in helping all to move forward and get ahead in all phases of life. Economically , socially and and politically. We embrace the disenfranchised and the neglected and the poor. We believe in universal health care for all in the form a single payer system. We will continually strive to achieve this goal. We want to root out corruption in the government and in politics. We know that corrupt government is cancerous and a threat to our democracy. We believe in quality education, fair housing and employment and medical coverage to all. This is the birth right of all human beings. We believe in working families . They are the foundation of our society. We strive for living wage to all in all of our communities.

We in the party respect our mother earth… and the blessings she has given us , the earth, air and water and yes we will do our level best to maintain it’s integrity and clean environment and not pollute it so not only for our enjoyment but for the generations to come .

We encourage and support good candidates , in every way possible , who wish to accomplish above goals to run for public office. From commisssions and boards to the city council, mayor, county supervisors, assembly and state senate to the US Congress and the US Senate and ultimately the position of the President of the United States of America. Our aim is to deliver votes to these candidates to win so they can carry on our message and make laws to implement those ideals. We do the Voter registration to increase population of democrats in our county and we do the phone banking, precinct walking, and get out the vote drives. We do all of this for free . No one gets paid a penny at all . Totally dedicated volunteers put in their time , efforts , energy and money in accomplishing the above goals .

We charter Democratic clubs in the county (please see the list of local clubs on the left side of the page). Members of these clubs are very dedicated individuals to our democratic causes and they volunteer to be our foot soldiers in getting our tasks accomplished and to see that we succeed in attaining our goals. We continually strive to increase the number of these clubs in our county . Majority of members of our central committee are also the members of California State Democratic Party Central Committee. Three individuals from this group are elected to represent our Central Committee on the executive board of the California Democratic Party.

There are five supervisorial districts in our county . Any individual who is a registered Democrat can run in an election in the even numbered years, from their supervisorial district to be a member of our central committee. Our county’s elected leaders appoint their alternates to our central committee also. Such as our congress persons, state senators, asembly members etc. For decades , we have had a unbroken record of delivering majorirty of our county votes to the presidential candidates of our party . We are also proud to have majority of all of our electeds on levels in our county, as democrats.
