The Saturday Democratic BBQ in Antioch featured a slew of elected officials in an informal open setting that allowed direct access to them and the host of the regulars of the Central Committee. Amongst the elected officials were
Congressmen: George Miller and Jerry McNerney
State Senator Mark DeSaulnier
State Assemblymember Joan Buchanan
City Council folks- Jim Frazier (Oakley), Kish Rajan (Walnut Creek).
Three Staff representatives from Susan Bonilla's office led by Mark Herbert her District Director.
The food was ample and well prepared by Jim Donnelly and his legion of helpers. The chicken rumored to be marinated in Margheritas was especially liked and cleaned out faster than piranha's on a rib eye.
