Tri-Valley Democratic Club to Discuss Ranked Choice/Instant Runoff Voting on June 20

Steve Chessin, the President of Californians for Electoral Reform (CfER) will be the featured speaker at the Tri-Valley Democratic Club's meeting on Monday, June 20. The Tri-Valley Democrats meet at the IBEW Hall, 6250 Village Parkway, in Dublin at 7 p.m.

Chessin will discuss everything you wanted to know about Ranked Choice Voting/Instant Runoff Voting, but were afraid to ask. CfER is an organization that has been educating and advocating on behalf of alternative electoral systems, including instant runoff voting (IRV) and various forms of proportional representation, since its founding in 1993.

Lamorinda Democratic Club To Discuss Everything You Wanted To Know About Ranked Choice/Instant Runoff Voting, But Were Afraid To Ask

Steve Chessin, the President of Californians for Electoral Reform (CfER) will be the featured speaker at the Lamorinda Democratic Club's Thursday, April 14, 2011, meeting. The meeting will be held at a special location: the Lafayette Library and Learning Center, 3491 Mt. Diablo Blvd, in Lafayette.

Chessin will discuss everything you wanted to know about Ranked Choice Voting/Instant Runoff Voting, but were afraid to ask.

The club's social hour will begin at 6:30 p.m., with a business meeting at 7:15 p.m., and Chessin's presentation to begin at 8 p.m. There is a $5 charge at the door to help the club cover meeting expenses.
