The Loop

A newsletter from the Democratic Party of Contra Costa County.

It has been said that we Democrats neither stand up for our values, nor refute the Republican Party’s line that we are only interested in growing the government and encouraging welfare. The Contra Costa Democratic Central Committee intends to change those perceptions by publishing a newsletter that hopefully will eventually reach every registered Democrat in Contra Costa and beyond.

The goal of our newsletter, THE LOOP, is two-fold:

  1. to educate Democrats so that they may refute and re-frame misinformation in a way that is easy to understand
  2. to encourage the involvement of Democrats in the political process.

THE LOOP includes:

  • TRUTH BYTES to expose misrepresentations or untruths that the Republicans would hope to make you believe
  • DID YOU KNOW? items to pique your interest to learn more
  • Articles written by our readers or from other sources
  • More

THE LOOP is distributed through Democratic clubs and members who send it to friends and family. We hope you enjoy, learn and value THE LOOP.

Submit articles, Truth Bites or Did You Know items to Marie McDonald or Ellis Goldberg. Please be sure to include source links.
